Individual PBIS Meeting

Individual PBIS Meeting

To maximize resources and supports for all students, schools need effective systems of support. A key feature of Tier 2 and Tier 3 School-wide PBIS is effective, efficient team processes using data-based decision making. The I-PBS teaming process provides an effective model for teaming and data-based decision making. See the resources and videos below to learn more about the I-PBS team process.

This training module will take about 2 hours to complete… it incorporates training slides and viewing an I-PBS meeting and providing feedback using the I-PBS Meeting Review form (pdf)
Here are Powerpoint Slides and Training Packet (recommend downloading rather than viewing via google) for a Webinar for the NorthWest PBIS Network on I-PBS for Tier 2 Decision Making delivered on April 8, 2015.
I-PBS Team Objectives
  • Use data to guide decision making
  • Early identification of students requiring individual behavior supports (Tier 2 & Tier 3)
  • Matching students to interventions efficiently and effectively
  • Monitoring student progress on Tier 2 & Tier 3 interventions
  • Monitoring Tier 2 & Tier 3 interventions and systems in the school

Below are meeting agenda/minutes forms to guide implementation of I-PBS team meetings and videos demonstrating portions of the I-PBS meeting. Lastly there is an I-PBS Meeting Feedback form which can be used as a self-assessment or can be used by coaches as a guide for providing feedback regarding meeting procedures and practices.
Before watching the videos, read through both the I-PBS Meeting Agenda/Minutes Template and the I-PBS Meeting Feedback forms above. As you watch the video score and be prepared to provide feedback related to each portion of the I-PBS meeting you are watching.
